EmilyDuits.com - College Recruiting

We have added this from Em's college recruiting firm. They have graciously shared what information was mailed out to all colleges that were interested in Em and to colleges that Em had hopes of playing for as a potential college player. You will find what Megan Garner, her FarOut coach, saw in Em as a player and a person. Also, you will find short video clips from her Lakewood days as well as FarOut practices that were forwarded as part of the recruiting information. The videos are short and the screen can be enlarged for viewing. The videos can be found under the "personal information" section. There are 4 to choose from, can be found in "red", and can be viewed by clicking on their links (also available at Em's "DVD/Video" page).

They show Em doing one of the things that she loved most....playing volleyball.

Work Ethic: outstanding, always focused and ready to go. She has outstanding determination to compete and get better
Potential: In the short time that I have coached Emily, she has already showed an outstanding amount of improvement, especially in her floor movement. Her desire alone enables her to improve and get better at a steady rate

Character: Emily is an outstanding individual with an amazing amount of concern and compassion for others. She has become good friends with her teammates in a very short time and is always concerned about making those around her feel special. She's a great all-around person who shows tremendous love for her family and keeps her priorities in check

Coachability: Emily is always ready to listen to constructive criticism and strives to make the necessary corrections right away. She understands the game well so she is able to take in information much better

Competitiveness: Emily has sincere passion for the game of volleyball, which drives her to compete at a high level and push herself, along with her teammates, to compete hard on the court. She has a drive to win and will do whatever it takes in practice and games to achieve her goals

Emily would be a tremendous asset to any team.
