Dear EmilyDuits.com visitor,

   I must first express my reluctance to make any statement other than the brief note and e-mail address at the "Contact" page to take any technical questions about Em's site. The reason for my reluctance is that this site is first, foremost and completely about Em ... who she was, the lives she touched, the legacy she left behind, and, perhaps most important, who and where she is today because of her relationship with Jesus. All content and basic design is from and by the Duits family and I am simply the technician who applies it as you see it.

   Here's the one and only reason I present this message to you: I'm all too aware, as I'm sure many of you are, that young lives are cut tragically short on a daily basis in communities across the nation. While it's been and continues to be my distinct honor and privilege to assist the Duits family with Em's site, I know there are other families out there who are walking a similar path who may not have the means or the opportunity to establish a site such as this … that's why I present this message.

   If you're walking a similar path as the Duits family and are interested in discussing this opportunity, I'd be honored to hear from you. My desire to help and provide this unique service is the predominant reason I'm making this offer, and I'll almost guarantee you'll quickly see I'm not into this for the money (but you can, of course, judge both for yourselves). I'm fully convinced that each young life lost leaves a legacy behind that each of us can learn from and draw inspiration from. Perhaps of equal or greater importance, a legacy site can provide an additional way for families and friends to honor those lives, share them with the world, and help in the continuous healing process.

  Please don't hesitate to CONTACT me now or in the future if I can be of any assistance to you. I reside in Tennessee and the Duits family in Michigan, so state borders are of little or no consequence.
